American Baseball Major Roy Oswalt

Oswalt ended his rookie campaign in 2001 14-3 record and a 2.73 ERA including a 2.12 mark with a 2.82 ERA 20 starts. He graduated with a second vote on the National League Rookie of the Year Albert Pujols unanimously by the loss of St. Louis Cardinals. Also placed fifth Cy Young Award voting, which was won by Randy Johnson, Arizona Diamondbacks. He was hit by a score of 24 consecutive innings before giving up less of the second inning home run by Andres Galarraga of the San Francisco Giant.
