Hansika debut in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film Desamuduru, Allu Arjun starring opposite. The film tells a crime reporter who falls in love sannyasi, played the Hansika. She is also a Hindi film entitled : Only one, which she essays the role of a killer, hell bent to avenge her family.
